Stephen Munday is Executive Principal of Comberton Village College and the Chief Executive of The Cam Academy Trust, a group of Secondary and Primary Academies based in and around part of Cambridgeshire.
He has engaged in many ways with the SSAT over many years, including chairing the Heads’ Steering Group of the Leading Edge Partnership of Schools. This strongly fits with his philosophy of seeking to make a positive reality of the school-led system. He is currently a member of both the Teaching Schools’ Council and ASCL Council.
In October this year, he was appointed to the post of President of the Chartered College of Teaching. He considers supporting the Chartered College to become fully what we all want it to be, the professional body of the teaching profession, to be the most important challenge of his career to date.
