Nancy Wilkinson is a Programme Manager at Nesta, an innovation foundation that backs big ideas to tackle the big challenges of our time. She leads Nesta’s work on technology in education, working on research and programmes to support more teachers to make better use of technology. She also works as Nesta’s education policy lead and supports a range of programmes in the education team to help prepare young people for the future.

Nancy previously worked at the Wellcome Trust as a policy adviser leading on education policy aiming to improve science education in the UK. She also worked as a Specialist at the House of Commons Education Select Committee, running inquiries including recruitment and retention of teachers and primary assessment. She gained a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, and outside of work is vice-chair of a school governing body at a primary school in Tower Hamlets.
