SkillForce CEO Ben Slade joined the charity in 2015 following a successful career in education.
Ben is an experienced school leader with an impressive track record of school improvement in some of the UK’s most demanding secondary schools. He held the posts of Education Executive and Headteacher with Cognita, the UK’s largest independent school provider where he worked across a wide range of senior and ‘all-through’ schools in the group.
Prior to this he was the youngest secondary school Headteacher in the UK when Principal of a challenging former special measures school in Cambridgeshire.
