As one of the Joint Heads of Centre Angela works collaboratively with children, parents, staff and partners from a multi-disciplinary background. In this role she has strategic responsibility for the centre, leading and managing a team of 120+ staff. She endeavours to provide high quality inclusive services for children and their families. The integrated nature of the work means that she undertakes many roles within the Centre. Angela is passionate about working with families to improve their life chances. She believes that all children should have a voice and this must be heard.
Angela’s responsibilities include working jointly with colleagues from across the centre to offer training and continuous professional development. Angela is a Specialist Leader in Education. She has contributed to publications and presented at conferences locally, nationally and internationally.
Angela has worked in Early Years for 35 years and has spent the last 30 years working with children and their families. Her qualifications include: National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership (NPQICL), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Early Years), MA in Integrated Services for Children and Families, QTS, BA IN Early Childhood Studies, Cert. Ed. Post Compulsory Education.
